[Labor Accident Case] Carbon monoxide poisoning caused by coffee beans.

Introducing a case that occurred inside the container used to extract coffee concentrate installed in the canned coffee manufacturing line.

When hot water is poured into an extraction container filled with roasted coffee beans to extract coffee concentrate, carbon monoxide that had been adsorbed onto the roasted coffee beans is suddenly released and accumulates in the sealed extraction container. A stick used to level the coffee beans that had fallen into the container was attempted to be retrieved after extraction, resulting in an accident. The victim was affected while discharging the leftover coffee grounds and fell inside the container. By the time they were rescued from the extraction container, they were already unconscious, and a subsequent hospital diagnosis revealed carbon monoxide poisoning, leading to their death about a month later.
